A princess-ly shade of pink, the berries of 'Welches Pink' American Beautyberry cluster in tight whorls around the long stems of this charming shrub. After small, pinkish-white flowers bloom in summer, the namesake pink beautyberries appear in late summer. The mossy green foliage turns pale and drops off in the fall, but the pink berries remain until late winter when they ultimately become a pretty (and pretty sweet) snack for the birds. The branches of this plant can be pruned hard in late winter to create a bushier, more compact shape with more profuse berries.
