Add some sunny yellow color to your partly shaded garden with Cutleaf Coneflower! If you have a woodland border, Cutleaf Coneflower's tall stature and bright blooms make for a wonderful backdrop for smaller perennials. In the right conditions, this plant can spread, making it a good selection for stormwater management or erosion control, all while attracting a diversity of pollinators to your garden.  Happy in full sun or shade, this adaptable species is a much beloved stalwart of the home garden.

The Cutleaf Coneflower we are offering was propagated at Stoneleigh from seed collected in Berkeley County, South Carolina.

Conditions: Full sun to part shade; average to moist to wet soil
Size: 2' - 5' tall
Zone: 3 - 9
Wildlife Value: Flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators; seeds provide food for birds; larval host for Silvery Checkerspot butterfly
